Personal effects coverage

We know you bring a lot of important accessories out on the water with you, so we offer coverage for things like:

• Onboard electronics and radar systems
• SCUBA gear

This means your items will be covered if they were to be damaged, stolen or fall into the water. With this coverage, we’ll offer full replacement for lost items, meaning we’ll cover the cost to return your items in either pre-loss condition or better! This also includes fishing equipment that belongs to your guests, as long as they’re specified on the policy.

Watercraft equipment coverage

Your bass and fishing boat insurance policy provides coverage up to $3,000 for watercraft equipment, but you can increase that coverage to meet your needs. Watercraft equipment includes accessories on the insured watercraft not installed by the manufacturer as part of the original sale. This coverage applies to common watercraft items like:

• Watercraft trailer

• Marine instruments
• Safety and life preserving equipment

Repair cost of your bass or fishing boat

This coverage will help ensure your fishing boat will be repaired without depreciation. So, we’ll pay what it costs to return your bass or fishing boat to its pre-accident condition or better.

Total loss agreed value

Add on this coverage if you want to know exactly what you’ll be paid in the event of a total loss. You’ll send proof of the current market value of your boat and if you face a total loss, we’ll pay that amount. In the case of a partial loss, we’ll pay the cost to repair your boat.

Emergency roadside and on-water recovery assistance for your bass and fishing boat

If you’re stranded on the water, you might need a tow to get back to shore. This emergency roadside and on-water service is included with your physical damage portion of your policy. It comes at no extra cost and includes:

• Costs to change or repair a flat or damaged tire on the trailer
• Mechanical labor or other service up to one hour at the place of the breakdown
• Towing by an authorized business to the nearest garage, marina, service station or other service point where necessary repairs can be made
• Delivery of gas, oil or loaned battery (we don’t pay for the cost of parts or materials, including gas and oil).

We insure bass and fishing boats up to 54 feet long and under MSRP of $250k. Although we do insure many types of bass and fishing boats, we have some limitations, including:
